Timing - WHEN?

The last step to your programs plan is confirming when it will take place. Running programs at different times of the year can have varying effects on a cohort. Your program will also need to fit into your school calendar as well as line up with program and accommodation availability. The best thing to do is get in touch as soon as possible to start the discussion.

Term 1

Summer is hot and dry in the Grampians - the good news is there are plenty of water sports options!

The beginning of the school year also offers opportunities to bond newly formed cohorts and create relationships that last a lifetime.

term 2

Term 2 see's the days become cooler and shorter with some fantastic stable weather.

The perfect time of year for the middle years to explore the landscape and learn skills

term 3

Late winter and early spring sees some good rainfall as well as some cold clear spells. While it can provide challenging conditions for journey programs, hardtop camps can be fantastic as they offer a lot of contingencies and flexibility

term 4

Term 4 is a great opportunity to complete the bonds built and lessons learned throughout the year. It also provides some of the best weather! Spring rains have soaked the landscape and the sun has come out painting to environment with all the colours of the rainbow. Wildflowers, wildlife, wild spaces.
